CV Screen is recruiting for an MCIPS qualified Procurement Manager who is looking to take a step up in their career to become a Head of Procurement, working for an excellent housing business based in Plymouth.

You will be responsible for the developmentand execution of the procurement strategy.

YOUR DUTIES AS PROCUREMENT MANAGER WILL INCLUDE:

You will control the development and execution of the supply chain procedure
You will be responsible for negotiating on a wide range on contracts
You will train and support colleagues within the contract management team
You will be responsible for the costeffective purchasing process within the organisation

REQUIRED SKILLS:

You should have excellent experience in the negotiation of major contracts
You should have sizeable knowledge of procurement within the public and private sectors
You should have experience of management reporting at Executive level
You should have experience in leading departments on substantial procurement plans
You must be MCIPS Qualified

SALARY:

A Salary of £63,423 is being offered for this role.

HOURS
37 hours per week (Monday to Friday). Flexible working with core hours of 10-3. Hybrid working is available with two days on site and three from home.
