We are looking to recruit a Team Leader for our Midlothian Community and Mental Health Team and Intensive Home Treatment Team.
The successful candidate will be an integral member of the multi-disciplinary team who will have responsibility for leadership, managing and supporting the ongoing team development to fulfil the key functions of the CMHT/IHTT.
In particular they will be responsible for the safe and effective deployment and management of the resource to ensure robust risk assessment/ risk management, implementation of complex programmes of care using a strength based recovery focused approach that proactively involves the person and optimises self-management across the service.
Registered Nurse Mental Health Nurse.Evidence of further education including post-graduate qualification in relevant area.
Relevant experience in Community Adult Mental Health specialty with ability to demonstrate appropriate skills and knowledge.
Evidence of management, education, and training i.e., completion of Leading Better Care modules, Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM).
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, particularly influencing, negotiating skills and leadership qualities.
IT skills.
