About the Trust:


Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust (KMPT), rated 'Good' in their most recent CQC report (with care and some services rated as 'Outstanding'), provides mental health, learning disability and specialist services across the county.

Nestled in the Garden of England with easy access to London, KMPT operates across 33 locations, where a mix of rural, coastal, and urban housing is available within Kent.


  • Experienced CBT therapist with BABCP registration or clinical psychologist with HCPC registration
  • Experience with psychosis &/or moderate to severe mental health problems
  • Experience with working with trauma

In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of:

  • Relevant Qualifications
  • Registration with the relevant Registration Body

Role responsibilities:


  • To be responsible for the systematic provision of a Specialist CBT/Psychology Service to service users within the Kent & Medway EIPS.
  • To undertake high quality direct (assessment and therapeutic) and indirect (consultative, advisory, and evaluative) specialist CBTp/psychological and family interventions in EIP making
  • Autonomous clinical decisions about own professional practice.
  • To ensure the clinical effectiveness of own practice and of service functioning by
undertaking research and development activities relevant to the service area.

  • To work as part of the multidisciplinary team supporting care planning & risk management.
  • To support trainee placements and offer supervision where appropriate.

£23.52 per hour
