Domus Recruitment have an incredibly exciting opportunity for an Deoputy Care Home Manager in the Chichester area to join a small, family run organisation with over 20 years experience.
Reporting into a Home Manager and Directors you will be accountable for the day to day assistance of running the home, working with the manager to maintain the homes high standards and strive to achieve further for the home.
This includes responsibility for leading a management team, the management of quality and care standards, cost control, employee engagement and retention initiatives, engaging with a spectrum of stakeholders and ensuring regulatory requirements are satisfied.
Key Responsibilities of a Deputy Manager:

Day to dayresponsibility
of running the home
:
- Manage in absence of the home manager.
- Lead and supervise a medium sized staff team.
- Be responsible for running of the care floor.
- Maintain 'Good' CQC ratings.
Deputy Manager Requirements:
- Previous experience within a Deputy Management role or Head of Care.
- CQC experience.
- Dementia experience
- Ability to manage teams, improve services, quality, and performance.
- Excellent communication.
- Strong leadership skills.
