University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Administrator/Receptionist to support the physiotherapy department predominately at Worthing Hospital with flexibility to occasionally work across three outpatient sites (Southlands Hospital, Worthing Hospital and Littlehampton Health Centre).


You will be joining a strong and supportive Physiotherapy Department within the top performing University Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Greet all patients and carers presenting at physiotherapy in a friendly, professional and courteous timely manner

Answer phone effectively and make phone calls to patients etc, ensuring verbal messages are communicated accurately, respecting confidentiality at all times

Ensure timely and effective communication with the physiotherapists and other staff

Communicate effectively with patients especially those who have significant barriers to understanding such as cognitive, visual and hearing impairment.

Communicate information in an easy to understand form to patients, carers and others in a tactful and sensitive manner.

Ensure timely and effective communication with the physiotherapists and other staff members on all professional matters.
