Role:
Maintenance Technician / Handyperson


Location:
Ilfracombe


Rates:
£12 per hour

Hours: 30 hours per week


Acorn Recruitment is currently working with a care home in Ilfracombe who require a Maintenance Technician/Handyperson to carry out various tasks to maintain upkeep at site including planned and preventative maintenance.


In this position duties will include:

  • Promoting excellent health and safety standards internally and externally around the care home.
  • Responsible for the smooth operation of all services such as heating, lighting, plumbing and various equipment throughout the building and grounds.
  • Responsible for repair of beds and other furnishings, painting and redecoration etc.
For this role, you will need to have previous experience in maintenance and be double vaccinated against COVID.
All applicants must live local to Ilfracombe and have a UK driving licence due to call outs.
