Retail Assistant to join our busy team


As a
Retail Assistant you'll keep day to day business ticking over by serving a range of products in our convenience store, including alcohol and tobacco, coffee, hot food and make sure our store runs smoothly.


Main responsibilities

  • Greeting and serving customers
  • Advising and assisting customers
  • Conducting customer transactions & cash handling
  • Replenishing the supply of stock on the shelves
  • Ensuring that all back stock is rotated, and the back stock area always remains in order.
  • Taking and recording temperature checks for hot food.
  • Cleaning and setting tables to the required standard
  • Maintaining the front of house area during service

A few things about you


We are looking for somebody who is enthusiastic about delivering the best customer service, will communicate confidently with customers and will be a team player.

Experience working in a similar industry would be great, but generally customer service and store handling experience will tick the box

There will be company procedures to follow alongside our Health & Safety practises so it is vital that you will champion this.

Site security clearance is required for this role.

Package Description

Must be fully flexible across all shifts for this role

20 hours per week

£9.50 per hour

Monday to Thursday between 7.30am to 01.00am.

Friday 7.30am to 17.00
