Maintenance Team Member


Responsible to:
Bursar

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Team Member to work within our Property Team.

They will be primarily responsible for carrying out a wide range of general maintenance duties and tasks within the school's property portfolio, including planned and preventative maintenance, emergency repairs/responses, statutory testing and general day to day upkeep of the school.

So, confidence and attention to detail are essential in all aspects.

In addition, the Property Team can also be called upon to undertake other non-maintenance related tasks in support of the wider School output.


There is also a requirement to be part of a 5 week on-call rota, where we can ensure maintenance is available if needed throughout the year and out of hours.


Essential:

Relevant knowledge and experience in property maintenance

Basic IT literacy

Live within close proximity of the School, with a willingness and ability to attend the School out-of
- normal hours for events or in an emergency


Desirable:

A maintenance or property management related practical skill set such ie plumbing, carpentry, painting and decorating

Responsive to change

Previous experience of equipment

D1 Driving License


Monday to Friday 9.30am to 5.30pm with 20 minutes paid break and 30 unpaid minutes for lunch.
