Temporary Works CoordinatorWe're looking for a Temporary Works Coordinator to join our AB2 team based in Bridgwater, Somerset.
As part of this section of Hinkley Point C we are building four reinforced concrete ancillary buildings and all the accompanying networks.
We are also building the permanent roads and networks; as well as managing the existing stockpiles to produce engineered fill from the site arisings and new streams of work which are under development.
Location:
Bridgwater, Somerset - hybrid working available and flexible start/finish times.
Contract:
Full time, Permanent.
What will you be responsible for?
In this role, you'll be working within the AB2 team, where you will be able key to the co-ordination of Temporary Works between site teams and designers.
Your day to day will include:
- Managing the design developments till approval and implementation.
- Liaising with different designers simultaneously, while managing and coordinating Temporary Works Supervisors.
- Reviewing of the TW design briefs prepared by the site teams.
- Site inspections and issuing of TW Permits.
- Obtaining of relevant certificates and approvals by relevant bodies, designers, client.
What are we looking for?
This role is great for you if:
- Degree qualification in civil engineering or equivalent is desirable.
- May be working towards Chartership/Incorporation with IStructE, ICE or other appropriate professional body.
- Having a working knowledge of Temporary Works management procedures.
- Experience in design and/or engineering management.
- Experience of overseeing a broad range of different TW schemes, preferably as a TWC or TWS.
