As a member of our Corporate Services Team, you will ensure that all aspects of accounting and finances for the business are maintained with efficiency and accuracy.

The Finance Officer will ensure that the Company accounts are maintained to the highest of standards, always acting with integrity and fundamentally within the interest of the Company.

Having responsibility for end-to-end financial accounts of the company, they will be expected to act with reliability, maintain strict confidentiality, adhere to all Company policies and be a champion of the Company Values at all times.


Location


Headquartered in the North Lincolnshire village of Kirmington, we also have offices in Hull, East Yorkshire and fully support a hybrid working schedule.

It is expected that this role will need to work in the office 1-2 days/week.


although not a direct requirement of the role, the successful applicant will hold a full UK drivers licence and have access to their own vehicle

Accountabilities

  • Preparation of monthly management reports
  • Supplier & Customer ledgers
  • Credit control & supplier payment management
  • Customer contract administration
  • Processing of monthly payroll
  • Maintaining of Finance Policies and Procedures

Experience, Skills and Knowledge

Key areas of expertise:

Essential

  • AAT part qualified (or qualified by experience)
  • Experience in Purchase/Sales ledger
  • Experience preparing management accounts
  • Experience of Accounting Software
  • Excellent Excel Skills
  • Ability to prioritise & manage own workload
  • Be a team player, willing to assist colleagues as required

Preferred

  • AAT Qualified
  • Knowledge of Xero Accounting Software
  • Experience/Knowledge of payroll systems
  • Experience of Microsoft Office/Teams
