Parts Assistant - Static Role

Location:
Reading (Berkshire)

Salary:
Upto to £12PH ( £24,000 - £28,000) + Bonus Scheme (Basic Dependant on experience)
Due to our clients continued success and growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Parts Assistant to work with an existing team based in their modern, purpose built Bodyshop in Reading (Berkshire)


As a Parts Assistant you will process parts ordering efficiently, maintain parts and paint stock as well as stock records.

Ensure the department is kept neat and tidy and up to Health and Safety standards.

  • Able to work independently when needed
  • Good communication skills

The role will include:

  • Maintain parts and paint stock and stock records
  • Ensure that all parts to be ordered are authorised by estimator or line manager
  • Ensure all paperwork, documentation and parts requisitions are completed accurately
  • Place special orders as necessary, balancing the needs of economy and speed of delivery
according to line manager guidelines

  • Ensure all incoming deliveries are checked labelled and stored appropriately
  • Ensure the department is kept clean and tidy
