HR Analyst


Duration: 12 x Months


Rate:
£27.47 per hour


Location:
Chester (50% office time, 50% remote)


Responsibilities:


  • Contributes to development of global processes and implementation of approved regional variations related to HR Processes delivery, ensuring full end to end process integration of employee life cycle processes
  • Will specialize in one or more of the following expertise areas and crosstrain on other areas to support business continuity:
  • Talent Acquisition and employee movement processes including job change or separations
  • Employee data management and organizational management including mass load processes
  • Document management and governance
  • Foundational data for Human Resources functions supporting Core HR and Payroll (locations, positions, cost center build controls, wage types and earning codes, data integrations between systems)
  • Data Dictionary and governance including monitoring of best practice audits or validations
  • Security provisioning and deprovisioning for Workday, PeopleDoc, Payroll, and other related HR systems
  • Payroll process design and integrations
  • Absence and time tracking process design and implementations
  • Maintenance of standard report offerings and development of complex workday reporting as needed (specialized skill and training).
  • Analyze business report requirements by conducting information gathering sessions with clients, analyzing the information and gaining understanding of business needs
  • Supports the development and maintenance of process documentation and partners with Capability Center teams to develop Local Work Instructions where assistance is needed
  • Leads or Supports projects, implementations, testing, training of any system changes that impact assigned HR processes
  • Capability Build: works towards educating the teams in the People Services Capability Centers and end users on global processes, data/process governance principles, or tools usage, coaching regional teams as required
  • Ensures appropriate controls are incorporated into the global E2E processes and are operating as designed
  • Proactively reviews Process Capability Trends and takes action to drive improvements globally in process, vendor management and technology
  • Analyzes metrics and performance, investigating servicerelated issues to identify root cause of issues and drive implementation of 'fixes' as required while working with key stakeholders
  • Supports security administration within Workday, Payroll, other HR tools and ensure compliance with Data Privacy regulations (crosstrain for business continuity and back up to peers)
  • Support data stewardship and quality initiatives
  • Supports vendor management activities including but not limited to case management and invoice and billing reconciliations

Experience Desired:


  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Three or more years of experience performing transactional processing within a HCM or payroll system (e.g. Workday, SAO, PeopleSoft)
  • Experience in delivering human resources processes within multicountry environment
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Strong HCM technical skills; able to manage systems processes to achieve desired functional needs
  • Understands the value of processcentric approach to business analysis and capability development
  • Experience with functional design and implementation of HCM systems and processes
  • Highly motivated and detail oriented in order to achieve and improve HR Service Centre metrics and standards
  • Ability to proactively coach peers to achieve maximum HR Service Centre performance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working in a global, virtual environment
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment and manage / prioritize multiple activities
