Job Purpose:


As a Marketing Executive at docs24 you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the company's brand presence.

Your primary responsibility will be to create awareness of and develop the brand through targeted marketing strategies.

This entails effectively communicating with B2B target audiences, cultivating customer relationships, and contributing to comprehensive marketing plans, advertising, direct marketing, and campaigns.


Your creative skills will shine as you support the development of marketing materials such as brochures and advertisements, ensuring a compelling and consistent brand message.

In addition to your graphic design skills, you will be responsible for producing engaging content, including videos and blog posts, to captivate and inform our audience.

Managing and running social media channels will be second nature to you, as you navigate the digital landscape to source advertising opportunities both online and offline.


Your organizational skills will also be used in the effective distribution of marketing materials and the maintenance and updating of prospective customer databases.

A key aspect of your role involves conducting market research to gain insights into industry challenges and priorities.

This will be achieved through methods such as online research and questionnaires, enabling you to contribute valuable data to the company's strategic decision-making process.

Moreover, you will actively develop relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, ensuring alignment with the company's overarching goals.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:


Marketing:


  • Develop and implement a marketing strategy (often as part of a wider sales and marketing programme)
  • Write and proofread marketing copy for both online and print campaigns
  • Evaluate and review marketing campaigns, advertising and SEO to make sure the correct mediums are being used and campaigns are effective
  • Track marketing performance and return on investment and prepare reports for management
  • Monitor and report on competitor activity
  • Lead inhouse and external agencies, when appropriate, to effectively manage events, press relationships, editorial requests, presentations, promotional materials and online activities

Graphic Design

  • Design and produce content for marketing inc. social media content, brochures, presentations, etc within brand guidelines
  • Be a brand guardian for docs24 ensuring materials produced are in line with the company brand guides
  • Support the Artworkers with preparation of clinical documentation

Requirements:


  • Experience and working knowledge of social media platforms
  • An understanding of B2B marketing
  • Experience with Adobe creative cloud software, in particular InDesign, illustrator, Acrobat Pro and video editing software
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines while managing your time effectively
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Selfmotivation
  • Problemsolving skills and the ability to know when to ask for help

Nice to haves

  • Knowledge and/or experience working in the Pharma/Life Sciences Industry
  • Experience with Adobe Express

Hours:
Mon-Fri 8.45am to 5.00pm


Location:
Edinburgh Office Based, not a remote working role.


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£20,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
