Description

Responsibilities

:

Day team leader covering secondary departments (Formulation, Filling, and Inspection & Packing). Prioritization and direction provided by department PL and or head of secondary. Reporting into I&P PL..
Deputising and supporting secondary process leads and shift team leaders.
Leading and planning key cross functional meetings; Weekly performance meetings, Planning and measuring out of campaign activities and projects. Running meetings.
Site project and Audit support for secondary depts.
Technical deviation assistance for complex or batch impacting DR's to be investigated over multiple shifts and multiple functions.
Supporting department project and proposed CAPA evaluations feasibility, benefit, implementation factors.
Running best practice and standardization forum and overseeing implementation of specific action.
Working with process engineering /engineering and manufacturers (OEM's) to improve running efficiencies and robustness improvements.
Cross shift communication for issues and standards.

Qualifications

:

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent in related field, or equivalent vocational or technical education
Significant experience in manufacturing
Proven managerial experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or biological industry.
Knowledge and experience in formulation, filling, automated inspection, or packaging technologies is preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of GMPs and FDA requirements is required.
