A market leading Insurance broking group have a fantastic opportunity available to join them as Team Leader, to be responsible for managing their Commercial Charity Insurance Team, based in the Stevenage office with the team currently standing at 7.


You will be tasked with the day-to-day management of this team, handle 1-2-1s, deal with recruitment for her team, be the main point of contact for sickness and holidays, setting team objectives, mid-term reviews and year end, team work allocation and monitoring,dealing with complaints, reviewing MI to ensure Service standards are met, contribute to manager meetings, monitor and report upon team performance against team targets.

You will also be required to learn products (if your insurance experience is non charity focused) and be able to help out with processing or client work if needed as well as the development of your teams skills and your own


This Broker writes a lot of business under its own schemes and binders too under a DUA, so a chance to get involved with the underwriting side of things also.


This role will be made for you if you love fostering relationships and helping clients find the right Insurance products to fit their needs as well as managing and growing your team to achieve Company forecasts, plans, targets, and budgets with new and existingcustomers.

You will offer advice and guidance on risk management issues whilst ensuring your team adhere to compliance instructions and protocols.

To be considered for this role, you will need a solid background in commercial broking (charity insurance experience is preferred although by no means essential) along with some management experience.

This broker is happy to speak to those with varying levelsof management experience, so this could also be a chance for an Assistant Team Leader, Senior Account Handler to move into your first fully fledged management role, as well as an experienced Team Leader looking for a new challenge.

Salary on offer is £27-32k dependant on experience, plus bonuses and excellent benefits, with hybrid working available.
