About The Role:

As a Trainee Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of our organisation.

This is an exciting time to join the business as we continue with our expansion plans.

Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with budget preparation, financial analysis, month-end close processes, and various ad hoc reporting tasks.

Additionally, you will collaborate closely with our finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.


Responsibilities:


  • Assisting with the development and creation of Monthly Management Accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist with budget preparation.
  • Assisting in the preparation of Monthly Variance Reporting.
  • Assisting with Financial Accounts preparation on Sage.
  • Assisting with the month end closing process.
  • Preparation of Costing and ROI studies.
  • Liaising with Budget holders, department heads and directors on Management Accounting Matters.
  • Reporting to SMT on all Finance related matters.
  • Assisting with the development of forecasting models.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks as required.
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis and present insights to support decisionmaking.
  • Assisting in the implementation and improvement of financial controls and process improvements.
  • Staying updated with accounting principles, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Follow ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality of financial information.
