THE ROLE

OVERVIEW


Attention to detail is at the heart of everything we do, from product choice and menu development to creating the perfect environment throughout the day, every day.

To be a professional, committed, proactive bar supervisor who enjoys working in an exciting, fast-paced environment.


The Bar Supervisor will assist the Bar Management team to grow and train the bar team and ensure that patrons receive excellent drinks, food and service.


You will also assist in managing inventory and resources, ensure that quality and safety controls are followed and maintain current license standards.

You should be able to work with diverse personalities and diffuse tense situations.

To succeed as a bar supervisor, you should be observant and have the ability to think decisively and efficiently.


To have a comprehensive and extended knowledge of the menu and the capability to serve in a timely and efficient manner to the needs of our guests.


The goal of all employees is to deliver the best hospitality experience for our Guests, which makes them want to return; you should be full of positivity, high energy, and a proud and loyal representative of the F1Arcade brand.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be the face of F1 Arcade
  • Welcome the Guests with a strong sense of positivity.
  • Providing initial, firstclass service.
  • Help each other / think about your team where a colleague may be busy, keep the guest feeling acknowledged.
  • Training and developing skills for all your team. Ongoing support to your teammates.
  • Taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure the bar and storage are wellstocked
  • To record all sales accurately, including package charges, be responsible for guest payments.
  • Ensure that a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained by following all cleaning practices. Be aware of your responsibilities regarding Health and Safety at Work and follow all measures accordingly.
  • To have a good knowledge and understanding of all food and drink menus and an indepth knowledge of those for your department to ensure the best service for the guest.
  • Communicate with the Duty/Bar Manager regarding any problems or concerns a guest might have.
  • Attend training sessions and team meetings to be involved in and contribute to these.

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND
You must have previous bartending experience in a high-volume establishment.


With extensive beverage knowledge, you must be able to create most classic cocktails, an understanding of drink-mixing tools and techniques.

Strong task and time management abilities

Team leader experience or more education relevant to the role

You must have a good understanding of working safely. Basic knowledge of food safety and fire safety

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
