Finance Volunteer


We are searching for passionate and caring volunteers to join our Finance Department at The William and Patricia Venton Centre, Astor Drive, Mount Gould, Plymouth.

Volunteering can make a difference to you, a huge difference to our clients and Age UK Plymouth.


The Role


The Finance Department is a busy and friendly team where we manage and process various accounts, reconcile financial data and record various financial transactions.

As a volunteer you would be assisting in the day to day running of the office by answering the phone, signposting callers to the appropriate services, filing, checking invoices and entering data and much more to support the team.


Are you passionate about supporting your local community? Are you someone who can help organise? Can you add a bit of sparkle to someone's day? If the answer is yes then we would love to hear from you.

To be successful in this role you need you to have a caring nature, excellent organisational skills, excellent communication skills, numerical competence, accuracy, be a good listener, relish being part of a team and be reliable.

Additional Information
We provide full training which includes; safeguarding, dementia awareness training and digital training.


Please note that a DBS Certificate and suitable references are a requirement of this role but we will guide you through these processes.
