We are currently seeking a Mobile Facilities Supervisor to join our team and contribute to the success of our facility services within a designated regional area.


In this role, you will report directly to the Regional Operations Manager (ROM), taking ownership of the safe, compliant, and competent delivery of soft facility services.


As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for line-managing and supervising cleaning and facility staff (Placemakers).

Your collaboration with the Placemaker teams is essential to ensuring an excellent workplace experience for our customers.


Your focus on safety, compliance, and service excellence will be instrumental in achieving the high standards we strive for in our facility services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the contract management team in the delivery and ongoing development of our service solution systems, identifying service improvement opportunities
  • Maintain a healthy, safe and secure environment and ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation
  • Rostering of cleaning and facility Placemakers to ensure that all sites are manned to contractual requirements and covering any sickness or planned absences
  • Ensure all documents such as Audits, COSHH, H&S and SOPs etc. are completed, kept up to date and reviewed at appropriate times
  • Ensure effective recruitment, training and development of frontline Placemakers
  • Ensure all services are delivered in a commercially responsible way
  • Ensure all customer queries / complaints are correctly recorded through the customer complaints procedure
  • Ensure all relevant periodic reporting and required paperwork and administration is completed on time
  • Ensuring rigorous cost control within agreed plans, such as expenditure in materials, consumable, pay and agency labour usage
  • Maximise additional revenue opportunities such as extra cover and ad hoc work, as well as margin improvement opportunities through price reviews and additional services

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • 2 years + of supervision experience working in a facility or cleaning services environment
  • Proven supervision and organisational skills with the ability to work under your own initiative, whilst following guidance from line management
  • Demonstrates the ability to understand the impact of their service outcomes towards the success of the contract delivery
  • Manages business performance to ensure successful outcomes
  • Identifies areas for improvement by reviewing service levels to meet customer and service contract expectation
