Year 6 Teacher Required in Bordesley Green

Empowering Learning are delighted to be representing a primary school in the Bordesley Green area who are looking for an experienced Year 6 teacher on a long-term basis to cover a sickness.

This is a full-time position which will start ASAP and continueall academic year.

The school is two form entry.

The Head Teacher is looking for a teacher with experience in teaching KS2 with confidence and who has excellent behaviour management skills.

The desired teacher will be resilient but approachable with an engaging teaching styleas some of the class can often display challenging behaviour.

The school is rated 'Good' by Ofsted in its last inspection.

The Teachers and Teaching Assistants are a close-knit team so the preferred Teacher should have a friendly and 'team player' attitude.

This position is not suitable for NQT's.

Requirements:

You must hold QTS
Be passionate about supporting pupils to achieve their full potential and be enthusiastic in your approach
Confident, resilient teacher who has experience with SATs
Driving is not essential but is desirable.
