Purpose of the post
It is the role of the Deputy Leader to;

Assist with the efficient management of childcare provision.
Be aware and comply with all statutory regulations, policies/procedures and ensure the team adhere to these at all times.
Assist with monitoring staff training, qualifications and DBS checks.
Assist with managing and maintaining a high standard of service for all children and their families.
Assist in monitoring health and safety, providing a safe indoor/outdoor environment for children and adults.
Assist in supporting the delivery of child development assessments.
Assist with managing the team including volunteers and students maintaining professionalism.
Ensure the safety of all children is paramount, fulfilling Safeguarding and Child Protection Policies.
To ensure that in the event of leaders absence they are able to set into the leader role.

Hours of work;
Monday to Friday between 8 am - 5pm

Must be willing to work towards CCLD level 4/5_

Salary:
£9.85 per hour
