Role Summary:


  • In this key role you will provide support to the wider Finance team, ensuring that all tasks are done to the timescales and standards required.

You will manage your own workload and meet deadlines, whilst proactively assisting all members of the Finance team with junior accounting duties and working collaboratively with the wider business to assist in the service delivery to our Clients and their residents.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:


  • To be responsible for dealing with all bank entries on a daily basis, including all cheques and credit cards, working with a high level of accuracy and with great attention to detail.
  • To actively work with the Purchase Ledger team, including the posting of invoices, whilst ensuring high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements.
  • Assisting with the weekly purchase ledger payment runs.
  • Providing support on answering incoming calls to the team.
  • To provide support to the Credit Control team with information provided to and from solicitors and third party agents as part of the debt collection process.
  • Assisting with the client bank reconciliation process.
  • Assisting all members of the Finance team at busy/crunch times to ensure all deadlines are met

Personal Qualities and Experience:



  • AAT, or equivalent active studier (or willingness to work towards a Finance qualification)
  • Property industry experience
  • Understanding of finance and accounting
  • Positive attitude and desire to develop professionally
  • Demonstrates high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong initiative and ability to work autonomously and manage own time
