Description

My client based in Greater Manchester is looking for an experienced Band 6 Histopathology Biomedical Scientist for a locum contract, starting as soon as possible.

Requirements:

HCPC Registered as a Biomedical Scientist
Experience in a Lab environment
Good communication skills
IBMS Specialist Diploma or equivalent in Cellular Pathology
Knowledge and experience of Quality Management Systems in pathology
Extensive knowledge of the work of a Histopathology Department
Extensive postregistration experience in Histopathology
A sound understanding of basic physiology, pathology and scientific principles relevant to Histopathology
Good analytical skills
Cellular pathology experience
Evidence of CPD
