Our core services are health economics, systematic literature review and network meta-analysis, global market access and pricing, UK NHS Insights, HTA support and customer communication.


The role
This is a permanent position based in our office in either Bicester, Manchester or York.

Working alongside our current Health Economists, this role will involve a wide variety of duties as follows:


  • Acting as the support modeller on activities and projects, working under an appropriate senior member of the HE team to deliver evidencebased and accurate content consistently to a high standard, across a varied range of therapeutic areas and a breadth of deliverables, including but not limited to:
  • Global cost-effectiveness and budget impact models
  • Early costeffectiveness and budget impact models
  • Health technology assessment submissions
  • Payer communication tools
  • Model validation (internal or external)
  • Statistical analyses required for health economics (survival analysis, utility analysis)
  • Publications
  • Other activities may include:
  • Deskbased research
  • Participation in expert knowledge elicitation activities, e.g. interviews, advisory boards, workshops
  • Adhering to internal and client quality control measures and taking personal responsibility for the quality of your work
  • As a member of a project team, actively contributing to the ongoing organisation and execution of projects, including timely communication with colleagues and clients, participation in meetings, note taking and execution of relevant actions

Requirements:


  • Essential_
  • A degree or equivalent in economics or statistics and ideally a postgraduate degree or equivalent in Health Economics, or any related domain
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
  • High level of integrity with a strong understanding and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Capable of working in a changing and fastpaced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and an ability to assimilate information quickly and accurately
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, positive attitude with an ability to find effective solutions to issues
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and development
  • A high work ethic with a cando attitude towards management of priorities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly motivated team player with an outstanding eye for detail and quality
  • Fluent written and spoken English skills

Desirable

  • Knowledge of statistical analysis/modelling software such as SAS, STATA, or R would be an advantage
