Job summary

We are looking for three part-time Care Navigators/Receptionists to join our busy and friendly team to provide a high quality service to patients, doctors and other members of the Primary Healthcare Team.

All three positions will be for 20 to 25 hours per week plus holiday and sickness cover.

Working predominantly at Hessle and Brough but cover may be required at South Cave, Holme on Spalding Moor and Bubwith.

You will have experience of working with the public, have a cheerful and polite manner, be able to multi-task and be a good team player.

You must be able to contribute to the maintenance of patient confidentiality at all times, inside and outside the Practice.

Main duties of the job
You will need to be a good communicator with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; especially under pressure.

You will have a range of patient facing and administrative tasks, so excellent organisational skills and time management are critical.

A caring, empathetic character is essential.

Your duties will include answering telephone calls, registering patients, and general admin within the Practice. It is very important to have a 'can do' attitude. It is also important to be flexible and cover shifts when required.
