£48,000 - £57,000 (Depending on experience)

Hours - 9am-5.30pmcompany will look at flexible hours too
I have an exciting role open from a client i am representing.

They are looking for an Accounts Manager who has great organisational skills, can meet deadlines and has very good communication skill in written and verbal.

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to head up the accounts and audit function within a well established accounting firm. This position works closely with, and reports directly to, the three partners. We are looking for someone to make a long-term commitment tothe firm, and there are real opportunities for career progression, potentially to director/shareholder
level.

Key responsibilities include:

Oversee the Accounts function, managing the accounts department staff workloads and job allocations
Planning individual accounts work
Reviewing staff work
Corresponding with clients
Managing and organising Charity Accounts reporting, including audit
Involvement with audit planning and audit work on trading companies
Take on workload from the partners as required, especially in sending accounts to clients
Assisting with ad hoc advisory work, including dividend planning and cash flow models
Meeting and onboarding new clients
Attend training events to further develop skills and knowledge as required
Communicating departmental matters with partners and staff

Requirements:

A full driving licence and own transport will be required, as it will be necessary to attend the office and/or client sites from time to time.

As it may be necessary to attend an in-person, meeting at relatively short notice

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as being comfortable dealing with clients both in person, by telephone and over online video meetings.
