Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide essential support to ensure the smooth operation of our office. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying, scanning, mailing, and filing
- Assist with data entry and maintaining accurate records
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate person or department
- Greet visitors and provide them with necessary information or assistance
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other documents
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Make outgoing calls for patient recalls
Skills:
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Proficient IT skills
- Previous experience in an administrative role preferred not necessary
- Professional phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
