Having acquired multiple businesses in the past year, the WorkNest team is growing fast, so we're looking for a motivated, passionate and highly-experienced Technical Development Manager to join our Development Team.

The Technical Development Manager will deliver a more agile, more efficient, more customer focused offering in our development of technologies.
You'll play a critical role in embedding Agile practices within our organisation, driving performance and delivery, and being accountable for creating motivated and high performing teams.
What you'll be doingReporting to the Chief Technology Officer, The Technical Development Manager will lead multiple Dev Teams who work across multiple SaaS products.
You'll lead the team, embed Agile best practices and develop a high-performing environment, therefore it's important that you are a confident and engaging line-manager.
The Technical Development Manager will lead the sprint planning process, working with productowners and business analysts to ensure plan and deliver features.
You'll use your deep knowledge of Agile best practices and methodologies to guide the dev teams and the wider organisation on how to use Scrum and Agile practices to continuously improve delivery, as well as removing obstacles and blockers to ensure teams areable to deliver releases at the end of each sprint.
Where you'll be workingThis is a hybrid role with a minimum of two days per week in the Chester office, with the rest of the week remote, so we're looking for someone that is a comfortable commutable distance from Chester.
That way, you'll be able to work collaboratively with colleagueswhile also having some quieter time to focus on your workload without distraction.
There may also be the occasional need to travel to other WorkNest office around the country.What's in it for you
