Trade Counter Sales - London, United Kingdom - Alloway Timber and Builders Merchants

Description

Working with the Branch Manager, this role is responsible for developing existing and new business, enhancing profitability, delivering exceptional customer service and driving the team and branch forward.

• Serving customers quickly and effectively: provide advice, calculate costs, selecting, recording and loading customer's purchases.
• Handling the financial transaction and following payment procedures: handling cash, credit cards, cheques, account customers, COD's from Drivers
• Fostering and developing good relationships with customers, suppliers and staff
• Developing and maintaining a high level of product knowledge and service knowledge: what products can do, uses, services PBM Builders Merchants offer, costs, specifications, stocks, supply and limitations
• Ensure all customer complaints are dealt with quickly and efficiently and that the Manager is notified

• Weekend availability
