Key responsibilities

  • Management of the purchase to pay process
  • Ensure that cash receipts are allocated accurately
  • Ensure KPI targets are kept
  • Accurate and timely completion of month end journals
  • Audit testing for group and company statutory audit
  • Managing a team of
  • Building relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Query management
  • Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns

To be successful:

  • 3+ years' management experience within an AP/AR function
  • Part qualified or fully qualified accountant
  • Financial accounting knowledge
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong team leader
  • Able to communicate well
  • Knowledge of the energy industry (desirable)
