We are currently seeking a driven, communicative and confident Senior Supervisor to join our Garden Café team.


The on target earning potential for this role is £29,429 / annual salary - comprising a base salary of £23,829, plus a qualified estimate of £5,600 in gratuities and service charge.

Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:
You'll have responsibility for all areas of our service and preparation, including our display areas, stations and equipment
Every day is different; ensuring all opening, closing and management checklists are completed daily
Creating a warm and professional welcome for our guests; running an efficient service at pace within the café whilst ensuring guests receive a personalised experience
Engaging, motivating, and inspiring a strong and passionate team; you'll work closely with our Garden Café Manager, ensuring the team consistently deliver exceptional service
You'll be inspiring and developing talent through ensuring your passion and expertise is lived through others
Creating and delivering daily briefings along with weekly training sessions designed with our development partners and food & beverage management
Developing strong relations with the Culinary team, you'll work together to demonstrate that shared passion, clear communication, and living our values is what truly galvanises the team and drives excellence
As a leader within the café, you'll spend time within the Pastry Kitchen; working directly with our dedicated pastry team developing your knowledge and skills on how our cakes come to life
You'll be instilling a culture of continuous development and innovation, identifying new ways to surprise and delight our guests and our people; you'll be supremely knowledgeable on the preparation and content of all menu dishes, including all cakes, ice creams and beverages
Confirming and presenting all allergen information correctly to our team members and guests
Understanding the needs of the café, you'll attend rota meetings alongside the Garden Café Manager
You'll support with training and quarterly team member check ins, driving continuous development within the Garden Café team
You'll support culinary with any menu changes, regular feedback and writing daily reports on service in the café
Occasionally you'll support across the resort in a leadership capacity within our other Food & Beverage outlets
You'll assist the Garden Café manager with schedules, inputting hours and revenue, helping to achieve and maintain appropriate staffing costs
Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way

You have outstanding experience in a similar role with an outstanding track record of success within a café setting
Bright and friendly, you have the ability to adapt and work in a fast paced, busy environment; you're focused and flexible, never afraid to ask for help
Confident and self-assured, you can deal with any situation that comes your way; dealing with guest concerns calmly and professionally, ensuring every situation is resolved swiftly and to our guest's ultimate satisfaction
