ICT Project Support to join our team based in
Exeter. You will join us on a
full-time, fixed term contract lasting 12 months.In return, you will receive a competitive salary of
£38,296 - £41,496per annum.

Key responsibilities as our ICT Project Support will include:

  • Supporting in defining ICT requirements and implementation, testing and fixes throughout the project
  • Liaising with other ICT colleagues, suppliers, and end users throughout the lifecycle of the project
  • Having a good knowledge of our current systems and the links between various systems to enable them to be able to answer supplier questions
  • Capturing and overseeing all ICT requirements for the Peoples Services Systems project
  • Maintaining a working relationship with business owners at all levels within the organisation that link to the Peoples Services Systems project to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of ICT elements of the project
  • Maintaining a working relationship with 3rd party system suppliers linked to the project to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of ICT services
  • Taking a leading role in holding stakeholders inside and outside of ICT to account for maintaining performance of services linked to the project
  • Taking a continuous improvement approach to service management by identifying and implementing agreed improvements as part of a continual service improvement plan that is linked to the project
  • Reviewing and inputting into the projects risk register and ensure business continuity plans are in place with regards to ICT and the project
  • Negotiating, with the appropriate business owner, Service Level Agreements for those services the post holder is responsible for managing, balancing resources with business need linked to the project
  • Taking a lead role within the project with regards to ICT services establishing processes and procedures and to make best use of the new systems we will be implementing
  • Producing documentation as required, including plans and the drafting and updating of support documentation, service policies and procedures linked to the project

What we're looking for in our ICT Project Support:

  • Degree level or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrable experience of working in an Agile methodology
  • Working knowledge of ICT best practice methodologies in Service Delivery
  • Experience of working effectively within an ICT support role
  • Experience/understanding of working in a project environment
  • Ability to work well with others and to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
