West Hove Infant School and Hove Junior School are two large popular schools over three sites, working under the Hove Learning Federation.

We are looking for a Finance Assistant to work in our busy school office.


About the role:

Working under the guidance of our School Business Manager, you will need to be able to:

  • Manage a busy workload, exercise initiative and work well under pressure
  • Have relevant financial experience of working within a school or similar environment (preferable experience of using FMS, ParentPay and other financial management systems)
  • Be flexible to the demands of the role across three sites
  • Have excellent numerical and administrative skills
  • Be meticulous in your approach to varied tasks
  • Have a positive attitude and sense of humour.
Previous experience working in a school setting would be an advantage but is not essential.
