Description

Byoot a residential building and refurbishment contractor specialising in residential conversion and new built projects. We are a growing construction company looking to build a new team for the future. Currently seeking a proactive and experienced Working Foreman to join the team. The appointed Foreman will be working on projects valuing between £250k and £2m.

The duties will include but will not be limited to the following:

Key Responsibilities

Have a good level of understanding in general construction, ideally trade qualified (carpentry preferred), and SMSTS
Responsible for being the point of contact between workers and Project Manager
Coordinating tasks for the day including but not limited to creating schedules for workers, oversee quality of the site, managing the budget and daily inspections of site in accordance to drawings
Managing specialist subcontractors and signing off their works
Procurement of standard materials from approved suppliers in advance
Activities on site are in line with health and safety procedures including conducting Toolbox talks

Key Skills Required

Have exceptional written and spoken English
IT literate and can learn to use the latest cloud software products for health safety and construction management
Be highly selfmotivated and have experience of delivering high quality projects in a pressurised environment
Have management experience of running residential projects.
Have exceptional attention to detail and a right firsttime attitude
