Job Purpose
:
To work as part of the Logistics Team in delivering right first time and on-time service against targets and internal and external customer schedules.
To ensure customer satisfaction through use of Unipart Way tools and techniques, effective team working and continuous improvement.
:
Key Responsibilities
:
- Pick and deliver product for the Cell
- Pick up full stillages and replenish
- Pick up scrap bin and replenish
- Complete stock checks and being responsible for stock control
- Raise pick for kitting and provide to Line
- Participate and sustain improvement activities
- Unload delivery vehicles and support Team Member checking off the load
- Locate material in to the Stores Inspection area
- Remove old labels from empty containers returned from manufacturing
- Sort empty containers for return to Suppliers
- Backload delivery vehicles with empty containers
- Perform all tasks within the required quality standards
- Ensure that the yard within Stores is kept tidy
- Maintain good housekeeping at all times
- Occasional cover for Goods In or Despatch Administrator
- Adhere to the Company rules and guidelines and cooperate with the Company and colleagues to ensure that everyone meets legal requirements with regards to Health Safety and the Environment
- Other reasonable requests that may made by the Company or your Line Manager
- All employees have a duty of care to follow / adhere to all Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) procedures, processes and challenge unsafe acts & behaviours"
- Report all incidents, hazards, near misses to minimise / eliminate the risk of potential further incidents occurring

- Ability to work well under pressure in a demanding environment
- Enthusiastic, conscientious, results orientated, selfmotivated individual with a 'can do' attitude
- Provide a high quality service which exceeds our Customers' requirements
You will have
:
- Previous experience of working in 1st tier automotive logistics environment.
- Previous experience of working as part of a team.
- Previous use of MHE
- Full UK driving licence would be favourable.
