Mealtimes is a very important part of the day for our residents. We expect meals to be cooked professionally and served with passion for presentation. A nutritional balanced menu is adhered to. Knowledge of food hygiene is extremely important, training can be provided. Traditional home cooking/baking.

Duties:
Food ordering/rotation. Written documentation. Keeping kitchen clean and tidy at all times. Keep food labelled in the fridge. Knowledge of food storage. Knowledge of diabetic diet/specialist diets. Serving breakfast, lunch and teatime preparation. Attend staff meetings and training.

Job

Duties:

Prepare all food items as directed in a timely manner
Follow recipes and presentation specifications
Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards
Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment
Restock items as needed throughout the shift
Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards

Additional

Duties:

Menu planning
Recording food temperatures
Preparing reports

Work Remotely

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Apprenticeship

Contract length: 2 months

Part-time hours: 12 per week

Salary:
Up to £9.50 per hour
