We are looking to add an enthusiastic team member to our dynamic team who will assist our operations department in dealing with Freight traffic.

-Freight Forwarding Operations Assistant_
- To manage the movement of freight to requested final destination within required timescales and to customers' specifications.
- To provide effective communication by liaising with suppliers and customers throughout the transport process.
- To provide effective management of the transport process resolving all issues arising.
- To provide consistent and positive customer service experience and develop strong customer relationships.
- Liaise with customers, Banks & Lloyd overseas agents, shipping lines and hauliers to provide a customer centred service.
- Develop strong customer relationships through providing good customer service consistently.
Skill and Competencies
- Computer literate (able to confidently use Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and to interact with modern computers for daytoday usage)
- Strong prioritisation skills.
- Excellent phone manner and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in fast paced environment.
- Strong focus on customer service.
REMOTE WORKING
We offer homeworking/remote working flexibility with a maximum of 2 days working from home, 3 days working in the office.

Job Types:

Pay:
£27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
