We have a long-standing relationship with an excellent boutique patent practice in Mexico with tried and tested experience in welcoming UK patent professionals into their team.

They're on the lookout again for individuals keen to gain an international edge to their IP career, whether you are a recent graduate or even started your training and it's just not working out how you hoped.

This role is open to recent UK graduates and will be based in Mexico City.


You will be given all the tools required to train and qualify as a Mexican patent attorney, with the support of a friendly and inclusive team around you.

The firm is extremely present at local and international industry events and are in need of an additional fluent English speaker to help represent them to a wider audience.

You will also work closely with clients and act as a technical specialist, explaining the process and liaising between the Mexican experts and R&D.

Ideally you will be a recent graduate with a background in electrical engineering, computer science, AI, physics, or similar. Knowledge of computer programming/data science is required, as well as a particular interest in mobile telecommunications and communication technology.

The firm will also consider patent attorneys (training or qualified) looking for a change of pace in the beautiful surroundings of Mexico City.


Salary:
£21,000.00-£26,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Flexitime
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus scheme
  • Performance bonus
