Description

NDC Sales Assistant based at the Head Office of this leading electrical wholesaler, offering an excellent basic salary and benefits package (including a competitive bonus scheme).

The Role of NDC Sales Assistant:

The role requires:

Dealing with customers on the telephone regarding product and pricing information.
Maximising sales through outbound calling and chasing quotes.
Basic knowledge of computers in order to process purchase orders and check back orders.
Dealing with product returns from customers, organising collection of goods using various carriers and accounting for these by raising credit notes.
Liaising closely with suppliers and manufacturers for delivery and product information.
The ability to proactively manage a varied and demanding workload.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to cope well under pressure.
Previous sales and industry experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Monday-Friday 8.00am5.30pm

What will you need?

Selfmotivation
Experience within an electrical wholesale environment is desirable, but not necessary
Excellent collaboration skills, but also the ability to work independently
A flexible cando attitude
An eye for detail
Demonstrate a good knowledge of key Microsoft packages
A sense of pride in a job well done
Experience within an office environment
Excellent communication skills, both written & oral
Customer service focused
Have a flexible attitude and be willing to pitch in where necessary to support colleagues

Commencing on 20 days holiday per annum (full time employees) plus Bank Holidays increasing with each completed years' service up to 25 days plus Bank Holidays
421⁄2 hours per week
