We are looking for a Level 2 Group Instructor to help run our outdoor bootcamps in Edinburgh 4 evenings a week on a Monday to Thursday at The Meadows and Leith Links. This is a great role for anyone looking for experience in the fitness industry and is working towards their Level 3 personal training certificate.
Who are Rebel PT?
We are an outdoor fitness company who run boot camps in the local parks, explore on weekends and like to inspire our members to be active by giving them an enjoyable, non judgemental and fun experience with exercise.
We try to bring back that level of excitement to every Rebel event and training session
We are looking for passionate, service-oriented, positive and hard-working individuals with a love for health and fitness and an excitement for the outdoors whatever the weather.
We are not here to push our members to oblivion.
We are here to challenge them into stepping outside their comfort zone and helping them achieve what they thought they couldn't.
That could be fitness related or just to be part of a community. Our plan is to hopefully expand on this and influence more people in Aberdeen & Edinburgh as Rebel grows.
Our members join Rebel to lose weight, tone up and get fit but stay because they find an enjoyable community to be a part of that helps them try new things, meet new people and build themselves a supportive and encouraging community.
Roles and responsibilities
Part-time employees - hours are ad hoc, we try to give you a regular schedule that will add to - 5 hours a week.
We'd be looking for holiday cover and a support trainer to help out at other sessions if it fit into your schedule.
The responsibilities and duties of this position are representative of those an employee must perform. This is not a comprehensive list and other duties may be assigned.- Design and implement dynamic workouts
- Provide fitness motivation, encouragement and education to all Rebels inside and outside of the boot camp sessions
- Be punctual and professional
- Provide high level customer service and hospitality to clients
- Maintain a positive attitude and take initiative
- Provide support to other Rebel trainers and work as a cohesive team in the successful running of all Rebel sessions and activities, with camaraderie and encouragement being a key part.
- Keep up to date with all events and challenges going on at Rebel
- Help create fun events, challenges and activities for members
Requirements:
- Actively identify areas where you have been part of a team in the past.
- Must have the ability to prioritise and multitask within a fastpaced environment
- Must be willing to initiate tasks and perform duties without direction
- Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work with a wide range of personalities
- Must have outstanding customer service and problem solving skills
- Must have a positive, cando attitude
- Must have friendly and professional etiquette
- Must have superior organisational skills
- Passionate, enthusiastic, personable and driven
Qualifications:
First aid Qualified
Ideally level 2 personal trainer
Drivers Licence

Payment
£15 per hour as a support trainer
