Your Music Academy is a fast growing music school teaching over 250 students per week across 6 professionally equipped tuition rooms.

Due to our current resident piano tutors becoming fully booked we are looking to establish shifts for a new piano tutor.

• Self employed role, teaching one to one lessons for 30, 45 or 60 minute durations
• Supporting and developing students with effective teaching methods, good communication, structure and motivation.
• Preparing students for exams, performances and auditions if needed
• Communicating with students/parents about lessons and progress
• Keeping up to date with modern methods and techniques
• Keeping record of student attendance and payments.

• Reliability and excellent time keeping. A good level of practical ability and knowledge of theory
• DBS check, the school can provide one for you if you cannot.
• No formal qualifications are needed though experience teaching is preferable, however training can be provided if needed.
