Fresh off the back of our recent acquisition by APCO, we are continuing to expand our Financial Services Team and looking to hire an Associate Director.

We are a leading financial communications advisor protecting and promoting our clients' reputations by helping them communicate with all stakeholders so they can meet their business and social objectives and enhance their valuations.

The Role


As an Associate Director at Camarco, we are committed to giving you a platform to learn, grow and hone your skills working beside some of the sharpest minds in the industry.

Y ou will independently lead a diverse portfolio of client work on topics ranging from; listed financial calendar, PE, activist, restructuring and litigation.


What You'll Be Doing:


You will be working on a range of retained financial PR accounts, with huge scope for project work in activist campaigning, bondholder representation, restructuring and litigation with clients predominantly based in the UK, but also in EMEA and further afield.


Main duties:

  • Running accounts with mínimal direction, ensuring clients receive deliverables in a timely manner and Directors and Senior Directors are kept up to date
  • Managing teams on each of your accounts
  • Ensuring all client materials meet a high standard (press releases, briefing notes, Q&As, agendas, meeting notes / actions etc.)
  • Guiding junior colleagues' client interactions
  • Handling sensitive or complex media enquiries
  • Broadening and maintaining your and Camarco's media relationships
  • Networking and generating new business leads on behalf of Camarco and supporting senior team members on new business
