Senior Residential Support Worker
To provide support to young people with emotional behavioural needs


Hours
37.5 hours per week. Full and part time hours will be considered.


Salary

Starting salary potential £31,417.00 per annum

(£25,546.00 annual salary) + (£4,680 6 sleep in shifts per month) + (£1,191 enhancement for 40 weekend hours per month.)
- *Figures based on base salary of £22,307.00 per annum, working full time (37.5 hours per week) + £65 per sleep, calculated for one/two sleep in per week and 25% hourly enhanced pay for weekend shift._

About the role

  • As a Senior RSCW you'll provide a caring, safe, secure and accepting environment that meets the basic physical, health, social needs and rights of the young people.
  • This will include supporting less experienced staff via positive and effective team working, to achieve high quality standards of care that are set and agreed by the Registered Manager on behalf of the Trust. This work will aim to respect and promote theneeds of each child arising from their racial, cultural and religious background.
  • You'll participate to establish an enabling culture, which individually and in groups, actively promotes the young people's life chances to achieve optimal outcomes in line with the Quality care standards.
  • Actively contribute to the development, implementation, monitoring and review of systems and policies which ensure compliance with legislative regulations and that high standards are achieved thus maximising quality of care, protection and appropriate control.
  • Supervise and/or undertake keyworking responsibilities, including primary responsibility for the more complex cases, especially where safeguarding issues are involved.
