Maintenance Assistant, Hotel Indigo, Durham

Hotel Indigo, Durham is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join the team to assist primarily with Painting and Decorating of guest bedrooms and public areas.

The role will also consist of general rooms maintenance, bathrooms, groundskeeping and daily ad hoc requests.

To be successful in this role, you will have a high level of attention to detail, be a real team player and have a positive attitude.

You will need a good understanding of hotel services along with experience within a similar maintenance role.

About Us:

Your day to day

Working with the hotel Maintenance Manager to plan daily room maintenance, including painting, decorating and ad hoc maintenance.
Adhering to Interstate and IHG policies regarding Health and Safety.
Maintaining the hotel grounds, ensuring that our guests see us at their best when they first arrive at the hotel.
Assisting the maintenance team with their duties.
