The North Star vision for this role is to create first in class, compelling ad creative that drives sales and aligns with our brand positioning


The role:


  • Creating briefs for designers and agencies across paid Meta, Tik Tok, Youtube, Reddit and YouTube that are going to maximize their output. Creative execution is only as good as the brief
  • Immersing yourself in customer/audience research day in day out reviews, ad comments, competitor reviews, surveys, external research, trends. What problems are people facing and how can we solve their problems creatively?
  • Coming up with ideas for hooks, angles, visuals, formats that will capture users attention, solve customer problems and drive sales for the business.
  • Leading creative strategy sessions and brainstorms for our paid social channels and recommending actionable plans for creative off the back of them
  • Regularly working with our campaign managers on evaluating creative performance to inform future briefs.
  • Analyzing the performance of creative using our analytics platforms to brief iterative ads and new angles that will have a tangible impact on our new customer numbers.
  • Ownership of our testing roadmap, briefing new concepts and iterations across all of our paid advertising channels.
  • Translating your research and insights in a simple and effective way for our agency partners and designers, taking accountability for ensuring our creative strategies are brought to life in a way that will drive immediate sales.

What we're looking for in you:

  • A deep understanding of creative effectiveness and proven track record of developing creative that performs
  • Expert knowledge of why and how paid social platforms differ from one another
  • Previous experience developing and leading briefs with creative teams
  • The ability to communicate a data point into a core customer insight that you can describe in a simple yet inspiring way
  • An experimental mindset that has been previously applied to creative iteration and an understanding of how small changes to creative can have big impact
  • Driven by an genuine urge to solve problems in creative ways (someone that intuitively asks the right questions and connects dots)
  • Experience working with D2C brands either brand side or at an agency.
