Description

Main purpose of the role:

To ensure all production areas, machinery and the building itself meet our strict standards of hygiene at all times.


Key tasks and responsibilities:


  • Ensuring that cleanliness is maintained throughout the site at all times.
  • Dealing with issues as and when they arise to maintain cleanliness
  • Carry out scheduled daily cleaning tasks
  • Clean processing equipment and production lines to required standards. This is measured through sample testing
  • Deep cleaning of production areas in line with schedule
  • Ensure all paperwork is correctly completed
  • Make sure that all work complies with current Company procedures for Health & Safety and Hygiene
  • Ensure all cleaning and personal protective equipment are fully functional at all times
  • Work to meet deadlines ensure duties are carried out diligently
  • Report any incidents or environmental concerns

Required skills and/or qualifications:


Essential:

  • Manual handling certificate
  • Good communication skills both written and oral
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Team player
  • Ability to remain calm when under pressure
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Adaptable and flexible to meet changing needs

Desirable:

  • Level 2 (Basic) Certificate in Food Safety
  • Previous experience within the food industry

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
From £26,000.00 per year
