The starting salary for this role is £17,574 per annum (FTE £29,291) for working 21.6 hours per week. This role will mainly involve working 9-5 but with some evening and weekend working.

Surrey Arts is the lead youth music organisation in Surrey, and we provide music lessons, instrument hire, out of school music centres, activities, and ensembles for young people.


About the role


This is an exciting opportunity for an
Activities Co-ordinator to work alongside the Advanced Groups Lead and a talented team of experienced and creative conductors and tutors.

You will support the wide range of ensembles, choirs, concerts,and workshops that are located across the county.


The post will involve working from home, from our office in Guildford, and attending occasional concerts, workshops and events in Surrey during evenings and weekends.

About you
To be considered for interview, your
personal statement will clearly evidence:

  • Experience of event co-ordination and good customer service
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of youth participation in the arts
  • An ability to manage and prioritise own workload with high level administrative skills
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of colleagues and customers
  • Strong IT skills.
