Machine Operator - Tamworth, United Kingdom - BNJ Consultants
Description
BNJ Consultants are looking for experienced machine operators to join our client based in Tamworth on a temp to perm basis.
Counterbalance licence/experience is an advantage however this is not essentialDuties:
- Operate and maintain various machines in a manufacturing environment
- Set up machines according to specifications and ensure proper functioning
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine issues
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Requirements:
- Good math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions
- Experience with welding, assembling, or other mechanical tasks preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and materials handling
- Knowledge of tooling and the ability to use various hand tools
- Understanding of logic controllers and their functions
Shifts/Hours available:
- Monday to Thursday
- 14pm to 23.30pm
Benefits:
- 1 hr break (30 minutes paid, 30 minutes unpaid)
- Pay rate: £13 per hour
- 36 hours per week
