Full Stack Java Developer, React, Spring Boot

Hybrid remote - Oxford, UK

To £60k + share options


A highly prized opportunity for a skilled Full Stack Java Developer with strong UX skills to work as part of a team with experts in AI to design and build end-to-end Java software in an Agile environment.


You'll be joining a world leading AI tech business that recently closed its latest round of funding and coming off the back of triple digit growth.


The remit:


  • Design and build endtoend Java software in an Agile environment using frameworks such as React, Spring Boot and others
  • Provide architectural guidance and review on fullstack development techniques such as the use of React and the Spring Framework,
  • Proactively contribute to the team's objectives of delivering incremental value every sprint and partner with other team members to deliver those objectives

Requirements:


  • Java and JavaScript languages and runtime libraries
  • Spring Framework and the core concepts of Spring testing
  • React Framework and UI testing with Selenium
  • Experience in contributing to large private and/or opensource projects
  • Experience with querying, manipulating and modelling data with SQL
  • Experience with data visualisation tools/techniques
  • Git or other SCMs
  • Testdriven development and a CI/CD setup
  • One or more of Linux/macOS/Windows environments

Optional but desirable skills:


  • Experience with developer productivity tooling
