Lead Electrical Design Engineer

Location - Kent - Hybrid (2 days per week onsite)

Salary - up to £55,000

Lead Electrical Design Engineer Job Role

  • As an experienced electrical designer you will have direct responsibility for larger hybrid projects both land and marine based systems, typically focussed around Danfoss drive technology.
  • Technical lead of the electrical design team.
  • Managing the wider mechanical and software engineering staff
  • Support the Engineering Manager to bring 'Lean' processes into the engineering department

Lead Electrical Design Engineer skills and qualifications

  • A degree in electrical engineering
  • Experience with drive technology
  • Design using EPlan (AutoCAD for legacy projects)
  • Design of electrical control panels and switchgear
